Preparing a supplier payment without delays

Invoices, beneficiary details and transfers: the checks that avoid a returned payment.

A genuine invoice for each payment

Each payment must match a real, lawful transaction, backed by an invoice or equivalent document. Our team may ask for a contract, purchase order, transport document or customs declaration before execution.

Check the beneficiary’s details

You are responsible for the beneficiary’s name, IBAN or account number, BIC and address. A payment sent to the details you provided is considered correctly executed. Confirm any new bank details by phone with a contact you already know.

Transfer from your own account

Transfer the amount to the Volta account shown in your space, from a bank account in your company’s name, with the quote reference, and upload proof of each transfer. Funds from a third party are not accepted and are returned to the sender.

If something goes wrong

A payment that cannot be completed is returned. Any return of funds carries a fee of 0.7% of the amount returned, all bank fees included, as set out in our price list. Careful checks before confirming are the best way to avoid it.
